Mr. Hodges joined DM&A in 1995, after operating his own machinery and equipment appraisal practice for four years.

He has a wide range of appraisal experience, having dealt with a variety of manufacturing, retail, and service business enterprises. Examples of assets include boat building, public aquarium, printing equipment, medical practices, machine shops, service stations, and farm operations.

Mr. Hodges has developed extensive expertise in the nuances of appraising fixtures and equipment for eminent domain proceedings. He has worked directly with a number of relocation consultants, acquisition agents, public agencies, real property appraisers, attorneys, and business owners throughout California. He has appeared in depositions and provided expert testimony in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Mr. Hodges is an Accredited Senior Appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers. He is a member of the Los Angeles chapter of the International Right of Way Association and an associate member of various chapters throughout California. He served on the Los Angeles chapter board of directors and co-chair of the Machinery and Technical Specialties Committee for the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers.
