Ms. Christensen
is a valuation manager with DM&A whose prior experience
includes investigative auditing and determining economic damages
for insurance matters, catastrophic events, fraud, and a variety
of economic disputes.
Before joining
the firm, Ms. Christensen worked as a manager in the Los Angeles
office of RGL Gallagher, an international forensic accounting
firm. She also had previous experience in the audit department
of Deloitte & Touche.
Ms. Christensen
is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in California. She
maintains membership in the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of Certified
Public Accountants. She holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser
(ASA) designation from the American Society of Appraisers
as well as the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) credential
from the AICPA. She has also presented in seminars on topics
related to the appraisal of goodwill loss pursuant to §1263.510
of the California eminent domain law.
Ms. Christensen’s
current work includes valuations of businesses and intangible
assets for eminent domain, estate planning, mergers and acquisitions,
stock buyouts and tax disputes. She also applies her forensic
accounting skills in litigation matters to determine economic
damages and/or assist with motive.
Ms. Christensen
holds a bachelor’s degree in economics/accounting from
Claremont McKenna College. Honors include Phi Beta Kappa and
Academic All-American.
