Ms. Christensen joined DM&A in 2000 as a valuation manager. She specializes in business valuation assignments involving loss of goodwill for eminent domain proceedings, estate planning, mergers and acquisitions, stock buyouts, fraud, and tax disputes. She has also conducted forensic accounting analyses for litigation matters to determine economic damages.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Christensen worked as a manager in the Los Angeles office of RGL Gallagher, an international forensic accounting firm, and in the audit department of Deloitte & Touche.
Ms. Christensen is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in California. She maintains membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. She holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation from the American Society of Appraisers, as well as the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) credential from the AICPA. She has also presented on topics related to the appraisal of goodwill loss pursuant to §1263.510 of the California eminent domain law.
Ms. Christensen holds a bachelor’s degree in economics/accounting from Claremont McKenna College where she earned Phi Beta Kappa honors and was an Academic All-American in track and field.
