Since joining the firm in 2001, Mr. Lietzow has specialized in the calculation of economic damages in connection with various types of litigation, including class actions. He has also worked on a variety of topics including economic damages, forensic accounting, loss of goodwill in eminent domain proceedings, gift and estate taxes, and other various business valuation matters. Mr. Lietzow has testified at both depositions and trial regarding economic damages and wage and hour class action damage analyses.
Mr. Lietzow is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of California. He is also a member of numerous professional affiliations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the California Society of CPAs (CalCPA), and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). He has also completed various courses related to business valuation administered by the American Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Society of Appraisers.
Prior to joining DM&A, Mr. Lietzow gained valuable experience as a manager in the litigation consulting services department of BDO Seidman. Previously, he worked at Biggs & Co. and in the internal accounting department of WGI Solutions, an employment services company.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration-accountancy from California State University, Long Beach, where he graduated magna cum laude.
