Since joining DM&A in 2006, Mr. Blair’s primary responsibility has been preparing loss of goodwill appraisals in eminent domain matters for a variety of clients throughout Northern California and Southern California. Additionally, Mr. Blair’s work includes business valuation and litigation consulting assignments involving economic damages, gift and estate tax appraisals, shareholder buyouts, breach of contract, fraud, marital dissolution, and business interruption.
Mr. Blair is currently working towards his ASA designation and has completed Course Nos. BV201N: Introduction to Business Valuation, BV202N: The Income Approach, BV203N: The Market Approach, BV204: Advanced Topics in Business Valuation, and Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). He has given presentations on goodwill loss appraisal practices throughout the state of California. Mr. Blair is a member of the International Right of Way Association (IRWA) and serves as a Board Member and President for IRWA Chapter 2, for which he was recognized as the 2017 Young Professional of the Year for IRWA Region 1 (California, Nevada, and Arizona).
Mr. Blair graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics from Claremont McKenna College. He served as Student Body President during his senior year and remains active with his alma mater.
