In 2021, DM&A entered its fourth era of ownership. The firm’s name harkens back to two of the pioneers of the business appraisal industry, Glenn Desmond and John Marcello. When Aaron Amster joined the firm in 1981, it marked the beginning of DM&A’s legacy of developing and training appraisal professionals. Throughout, the firm has placed a strong emphasis on performing quality work while maintaining an enjoyable, familial environment. The founders were ahead of their time at recognizing the benefits of work/life balance. These principles remain at the core of the firm today.
