Since joining DM&A in 2006, Mr. Blair has performed business valuation assignments, primarily for purposes of gift and estate tax, as well as loss of goodwill appraisals in eminent domain matters. Additionally, Mr. Blair’s work includes litigation consulting assignments involving economic damages, shareholder buyouts, breach of contract, fraud, marital dissolution, and business interruption. Mr. Blair became a Partner of the firm in 2021.
Mr. Blair has given presentations on business valuation and goodwill loss appraisal practices throughout the state of California. Mr. Blair is a member of the International Right of Way Association (IRWA) and is a Board Member and Past President of IRWA Chapter 2. He is also a member of Provisors, Contra Costa County Bar Association, National Association of Forensic Economics, and East Bay Trust and Estate Lawyers (EBTEL). Mr. Blair is active with his alma mater, Claremont McKenna College, where he served as Student Body President during his senior year. Mr. Blair lives in San Francisco with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys drinking craft beer, rooting for the Seahawks and Mariners, and discovering new hole-in-the-wall restaurants.
