


Ms. Markland recently joined the firm as an expert in business valuation, economic damage analysis, and forensic investigations. She combines her accounting and finance experience to quantify economic damages and value assets in a variety of circumstances, from adversarial proceedings to proactive consulting engagements. Ms. Markland has led numerous engagements involving the valuation of businesses, ownership interests, and assets for mergers and acquisitions, pre-IPO analyses, corporate planning, litigation, and dispute resolution in a variety of industries. She has worked with private and public companies across the United States, Canada, and other international markets.
Another area of Ms. Markland’s expertise involves determining economic damages, such as lost profits, dilution in business value, and disgorgement in economic profits, for general commercial disputes, including breach of contract, business interruption and destruction, corporate disputes, shareholder disputes, and breach of fiduciary duty. Ms. Markland’s practice spans multiple industries including, but not limited to, cannabis, manufacturing, construction, real estate, transportation, automotive, consumer product goods, and healthcare. She has been retained as a testifying expert for diverse industries and venues including state court and international arbitration.
Ms. Markland is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA).
She lives in Wenatchee, Washington where she enjoys traveling the world, listening to Bruce Springsteen, and spending time outdoors with her dogs.
