Mr. Nutten joined DM&A in 2001. With more than 35 years of litigation consulting experience, Mr. Nutten serves as one of DM&A’s primary expert witnesses regarding economic damage issues, business valuation matters, and forensic accounting. Additionally, he regularly consults with his clients on case development and discovery issues. Mr. Nutten has testified in deposition and trial throughout California and in New York on over one hundred occasions regarding the results of his analyses.
Mr. Nutten maintains membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA), the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Mr. Nutten has served as a professor of Financial and Managerial Accounting in the undergraduate and graduate programs at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Mr. Nutten is a regular speaker on topics related to economic damages and business valuation. Mr. Nutten lives in Manhattan Beach with his wife and is an avid golfer, and flies radio controlled airplanes in his free time.
